6x9 help needed

I need some good 6x9's. I had some subs in my truck but just not enough space, so im looking for some 6x9's with decent bass. I know they are no replacement for my old l5's, but any bass helps... Any ideas??

well it sounds to me like tangband 6x9's are the way to go!!

If your interested i just got a pair of proto type 6x9's from cdt. These use solid cast frames ahh just look at the pics really it explains it lol. Nothing cheap about these babies they are built like tanks! After im done using them i may let them go for cheap as i really dont see myself having a use for them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif i have way to much stuff like this laying around.

hmm very good timing. I'm currently shopping around but might be very interested if you decide to sell sometime in the future. I do have a few questions. What kinda size box should these go in, and what kinda bass can one expect from them?

These will require a .15-.35 cubic foot sealed enclosure. I did a brief test with them and using them IB they do not perform well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif These do have some authority run sealed though. Nice output and can go pretty low. For a 6x9 imo these are a little over done, i cant see any market for a product like this but they just made them for the heck of it. You def wont see these released in the future.

Im a bit confused. Sorry. What is IB? also, you said they are a little overdone...what do you mean by that?

IB = infinite baffle mean no box. Over done i mean really how many people want a 6x9 like that lol. that thing is a beast for a 6x9

I really have no idea where to start on an offer. YOu know how loud they are, and have actually used them so what would you think a reasonable price would be?

Those are really nice, previous old school killer 6x9's are the Cerwin CS-18a's (pictured below), JBL T545 & T595, and Magnum Professional 6x9 3-way component set. My Magnum's are 23 years old and sport a 1 1/2" VC and a cast aluminum frame and 8lb magnets.

Those look very sweet, I would love to have a pair of them. However, those surrounds look so big they would probably interfere with the stock grills in my Honda.
