6x8 Component Install Questions

I have a 2002 Ranger, and the stock speaker mounts are 6x8". I want to get a component set, but do I have to get one that has 6x8" mid speakers? If not, is there some kind of adapter I can buy for fairly cheap to make a 6.5" or 6" speaker fit? Thanks!

Whats the budget, and what kind of amp, and power are you going to be running to them.

I am using a Kenwood KAC-7925 amp that will be giving each side about 100w RMS. I want to spend around $150 (brackets included if needed). I'm also purchasing 40 sq ft. of Edead ($42), a 4awg wiring kit ($25), and taking the truck somewhere to have everything installed for $120. I want to keep the total cost under $350.

i have a 2004 ranger and running boston acoustic pro60 components. they actually come with metal 5x7/6x8 adapters that fit nicely. also added two layers of edead to the adapters as the metal is pretty thin.
