6th gen Monte Carlo eng swap,3800 motor fans

I have a chance to get a 2000 Monte Carlo LS. I beleive the LS trim came with the 3.4 motor,while the SS trim came with the 3.8 motor.

How much would be involved to swap the 3.4 with a 3.8 S/C or 3.8 N/A motor?

I dont know if it was that year, but most of those SS were just cosmetic upgrades. But I do know some of the years had the SC 3.8.
