What game(s) do you play/able to play?

I just got my laptop today and I have 64-bit Vista Ultimate, 4GB, AMD TL-64, GeForce 6150 (256MB)

I am thinking S.T.A.L.K.E.R. since they have a 64-bit patch. I'd love to get C&C3 but I don't know if they have a patch for 64-bit users.

My dad wants me too upgrade to 64 bit but I dont want to have problems running programs...will they all work just not all run in 64 bit format? I just got this computer yesterday and Im new to all of this. Right now it is 32 bit but I ordered the 64 bit dvd and it should be in shortly.

my brother runs 64bit vista. He runs every game that's not Open GL. CS, CS:S, BF2, Dirt, etc. He says they only run on one core, but that's still plenty good.

I ran 64-bit vista beta and it ran everything just fine.... but why buy a laptop to play games?

I didn't buy it to play; I bought it for school. I just want to play some games in my spare time once and awhile. I will still have my X360 with me at school but this laptop is faster lol

cause it uses both cores so less freezes and faster processing...

The only advantage you will have from running 64-bit is you will be able to address more memory. If you run 32 bit, your system will lose a bit of ram from it and you will see 3gb of RAM (roughly).

I really don't see a benefit to running other than 32 bit currently. Just because of the problems you will have with some software. No real benefit for you yet. Not to mention the drivers are pretty crappy for most of the hardware. I ran 64 bit for a couple weeks, hated it, went back.
