600 watts, a few 8's and not a lot of room to play with

I'm going to install a system in my brothers silverado regular cab truck. There's enough space behind the seats for a wedge: 4" top, 7.5" bottom, 14" tall and however wide it needs to be. I want to do sealed for a nice tight, punchy bass.

I also have a directed 750D amp, which will do 600@1, and 400@2.

My plan was to get 3 Assassin 8's wired to a 1.33 ohm load, each should see about 175 watts. I'm hoping they will work well with that, especially over long term.

What do you think about this system? Mainly the drivers. Assassins are affordable and get great reviews, hence my choice. Other options are possible though.

Mmmmm, soundsplinter.

Sadly they just barely exceed (5.65) my max mounting depth of 5.5 and I can't lose legroom by moving the seat forwards any more.

The assassin is 5.12 deep, which will fit fine.

So the RL-i is actually about 6" deep I see. I could possibly find 0.5" someplace and make it work, but then they are quite a bit more expensive than the Assassins, and I'd at most be able to afford 2.

Thanks for the listing, I defintely need to look into a few of those I've never heard of before. Obviously a DVC sub would be an improvement upon the Assassins which are single 4 ohms.

Many people have been very happy with the Assassins, but if you have the money the RL-i's are a monster.
