6 stroke engine...?

First self propelled vehicle was steam powered actually, I think it was around 1779. It also helped produce the first car crash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

stanley steamer;)

dude... great find. Never thought of the power of steam. I would totally want one of these motors, considering i drive like a jackass shifting at post 4k RPM's.. not that im not safe, i just like the sound of my motor. One thing i would think about is, how much VISIBLE steam would this create? every time a light turns green and everyone guns it, you wont be able to see where youre going? im sure someone has thought of a good way to get rid of this, but i thought id bring it up. Im not much into hybrids, i think they are mostly ugly with a chance of retardation. Theyre for tree hugging hippie soccer moms, and liberal jackasses and the faceless office cubicle dwelling kind IMO. they cant be much fun to drive... ill stick with my 2.4L 4 banger with absolutely no emissions devices, thank you very much.. and the 5 speed manual ****** comes with me too...*steps down from soapbox*

ya im sure their would be something else on the exhaust to cool the vapours enough to reduce the steam?

Aka, just another thing in the exhaust/emissions systems to remove to free up that valuable horsepower //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

****, just thought of this...could u imagine putting forced induction on this type of engine...can u say insane amounts of power out of little engines???? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

welcome to what the japanese have been doing for years... making badass 4 bangers
this has nothing to do with 4cyl motors in particular, nor is this a Japenese invention. Bruce Crower is American //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

im just saying... the japanese have been making small motors will big outputs for years... not like its new or anyhting. But this 6 stroke is really cool.

As have the americans, do you wish to turn this into a domestic-vsimport arguement? If not, then I see no calidity in posting anything that pertains to any particular class.
