6 stroke engine...?

Don't even start this war. trust me.
Prices even out. Hybrids are a big gimmic.
x2...u dont even want to know the price on a battery for a hybrid, not to mention the labor rates for mechanics that CAN and WANT to work on these cars, were talking high voltage with high amperage. there are actually these 2 terminals on teh back of hybrid engines that charge the battery...if u touch those, u are dead instantly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif hybrids were developed for emissions too, so i guess if ur a tree hugging hippie, then it is an advantage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

thats an awesome idea that could really bring forth a solution to a big problem.

my only piece to add to this is...

imagine the added hassel of not only having to fill a car up with gas, and monitor the gas gauge. and now you would have to monitor two gauges and fill up two different fluids. it doesent seem like much of a hassle, but will the consumers be willing to sacrifice their simple one fluid ways for it?

i dont know about u guys but id rather watch 2 gauges and save almost half as much at the pump:rolleyes: ..

edit: but the *****es that need an oil change light would complain so....

**** the v6's, its all about the 4banngers

Your retarded it says 6 stroke not cylinder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Since it says they use equal amounts of gas and water, couldn't you just have one gauge for both....they'd always be at the same level right??? They could figure something out like that for sure....thats what engineers are for //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you missed the point... sure we can say that we sould be willing... but will the rest of the consumers? people like simple, they like what they are already used to.
kind of like how E-85 is taking a while to catch on
then they can spend their money keeping shit 'simple'

that would work, as long as you kept each tank at the same level... but not everyone fills their tank up, they might only put $10 in it, or someone might fill the tanks at seperate times.

if an auto manufacturer cant market their product to the majority of the consumers, or to a large mass of their target audience, what is their motivation for offering it at all?

dont get me wrong, i think its a great idea. im just offering a real world example of if it would ever meet production or not.

the MASS target would rather spend half as much at the gas station i would think //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

I know I sure a shell would, and if it has the option of creating more power, then heyyylll yes I want it :p

Hmm, that would mean you would need a stainless steel exhaust and head... Expensive.
And the motor would have to be hot enough to turn the water to steam...

Okay, I'll read the article.

go run/rev your engine for a couple minutes. turn it off. touch the block

it's plenty hot to turn water into steam, specially inside a chamber that is igniting gasoline.

That has been covered //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm guessing water would come free with gas...i hope lol that'd be pretty shitty if they tried to charge yah for it...of course they couldn't get more than like a nickel a gallon, if that. And if gas stations tried to be ghey you could always fill it up at home outta hose lol. (unless it needed to be filtered...but i'm sure you could buy a filter too....)

Basically i think its a great idea for the while, but in about 20 years we need to be getting off fossil fuels period IMO....

Deionized water=distilled water? LOL, deionized sounds sofaking special I thought it was something I had to special order.
I suppose it's Phosphate antifreeze that is Really hard on aluminum...
they are different, deionized water simply cannot conduct electricity, distilled is a purer form which both cannot conduct electricity and has NOTHING but pure H2O in it, deionized can still have foreign material as long as its not charged.
