6 stroke engine...?

that is awesome and me being one that drives 60 miles one way to work the better fuel rate makes me smile but the down side is of course the need for stainless steel components
I read it and did not notice that it said anything about requiring stainless steel components.....

Even if it did, consider the 40% savings in gas, and it will clearly become worth it.

IF you had to build a motor, lets say the internals ran you $2,000, which I highly dount they would. Anywhoo, I fill up once a week, $60/tank.

52weeks in a year?

52*$60.00=$3,120

3120(.4)=1248

3120-1248=$1,872 savings in gas every year. That comes with a list of assumptions though.

Explain... Cost of deionizing water>resistant components?
Never heard of it, I have an aluminum engine I'd like to know more about it.
Go to store and compare the cost of deionized water vs spring water. Practically nil! filtering water 20 different ways from sunday is much more cost effective than producing and keeping tabs on the quality of special metals. I only say aluminum block because it is more resistive to corrosion than steel. It also exhibits other beneficial properties like weight savings and heat transfer.

Distilled water is what he suggests , I want to see what it does with a load. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It's interesting, I just wonder why he hasn't dynoed it yet. He has a working prototype, why not ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

so the fifth stroke is the squirting of water into the cylinder and the 6th stroke is the actual "push-down" of the cylinder?

5th would be the second power stroke, and the sixth would be the actual exhaust stroke. If the sixth was the "push-down", then there would be a seventh for expelling the gases.

****, i can't even begin to think the HORSEPOWER you could throw if heat was not an issue...

believe it or not, the hotter ur engine runs the more efficient it is...thats y in the winter (depending where u live) u get shittier gas mileage

to noob, as the 4th stroke comes to an end, water is injected into the cylinder, making a 5th (2nd power stroke), 6th stroke then becomes the actual exhaust stroke.
