6.5 to 5.25, What do I need?

Hi

I bought the wrong size speakers, because I had read every where that my car would fit 6.5 speakers. I took the door panel off and went to install them, and the size is actually 5 1/4.

The speakers I bought:

Alpine SPR-60 Type-R 6.5

Is there anyway to fit these into my car? And If so what is it that I need to buy?

2003 Honda Civic (2 Door)

It is a two door, EX.

Just tried searching their website, they dont have anything

Can't tell if serious or trolling...

If the speaker is mounted to the sheet metal of the door and the magnet fits through the hole, you can, indeed, use a spacer to make a larger speaker fit a smaller hole...

With the type S's ya it would probably work but on many it wont...
