6.5" Speaker Grills

hey all, im replacing a set of speakers on my pontoon boat with some 6.5" refrence series speakers, which i already have from a while ago... the thing is that is dont have grills for them to cover them up so no one kicks them or anything happens to them. so basicially my question is, will any 6.5" speaker grilll that i can get off ebay work? i can drill new holes and what not, but do you guys think that a sony or polk 6.5" grill should still cover up the speaker? i assume it should since they all are 6.5" on the speaker, but sometime stuff like this is proprietery to a single company.

i think you could get some other brand to fit with a little bit of modding..

hmm, i dont know, about making my own, i want them to look decent... and really dont want to spend too much time/money on this project. just a little side thing for me really.

good idea though, never really thought of that.

anyone else with any experience?
