6.5" Speaker box dimensions

i am building a small box for my 6.5 coax due to trying to get them out of the doors, my ? since it is not going to be bass heavy or anything, running about 80hz on up, can i use 3/8 thickness or should i go 1/2 thickness. thank u

I'd tune at the Fs of the driver or wherever you plan to crossover

no, i am trying to put it in the back, where normal 6x9s go, but my card does not have those holes and i don't want to cut into the trunk, so i'd rather just build a box

i am using CDT HD 6EX coax and i am going to go to as low as 80hz

Typically 0.2 cu ft. is a good volume for 6.5's or 6x9's. I'd probably use 1/2" MDF or birch ply.
