6.5" mid replacement

Lookin to replace the mids in my ads 346cs component set. They don't have enough midbass for me and I think i blew one again because I keep trying to squeeze a little more midbass out of them and bottom them out every once in a while.

Well anywho.... I am looking for a kinda sorta cheap replacement, but if I have to save up for a while I will. I probably won't be puttin them in until spring anyway. I am looking for good extension up to 4khz, and strong midbass. Anyone have any experience with lanzar opti64 mids?

Maybe a cheap 8" with extension that high? I would like them to handle around 150wrms depending on efficacy of course.

The ascendant poly mid is your best choice, assuming the a/d/s/ driver is also 4 ohm driver.

yup sure is. I like the price on the ascendant mids. Do I have to call them to order, the online order thing doesn't work.

When is this new line coming out? I suppose the 35 bucks a pop will be out the window right? And I don't plan on buying until spring, because cold weather and me don't get along.

What about full component sets in the 200dollar area that have good midbass?

Rainbow SLC265's might be a good choice.

I have actually been very interested in these, where online do you go to buy rainbow? I just googled it with no luck. Nuttin on ebay either.
