i would just make sure you face the port to the trunk, fining into the cabin takes a ton of power to get loud

The box i have now is loud enough for me. This box is just too tall and doesnt go back. To get to the spare i would have to remove the box.

yep worst pair of the trunk in these cars. only can go 14.5 tall

If you still want to go the IB route those would get my vote. I bought a pair of the old eu-700s when they first came out. Did quite well for what they are.
