6.5 components under 150

I'm lookin for speakers that will have a decent amount of SQ. rms i would think would be around 80w and up. any suggestions?

To the OP, Image Dynamics ID CTX65CS, Massive Audio VK6, and probably a few others around $150. Now, I'm not saying that the BA Pro60's he's trying to sell are bad. I've never used them, and they retail for a pretty penny, but I'm just letting you know that most people want to sell the things they don't use.

I am happy with older Alpine Type Rs, but want to test out Polk MM because I heard good thing about them.

i've heard great things about them as well but not so much about polk. Never heard the old type Rs but the new ones look like they would pack a punch

I know a lot of people like the Type Rs. I think a number of people here like a specific pair of Pioneers for ~$110 too, but I don't remember the specific model -- sorry. I think you can find them on SonicElectronix.

ts-d1720c. i think thats what your talkin about. if the rms was higher i would've put them in the equation. they look pretty nice though and don't cost a pretty penny

Honestly, you guys could just search the speaker forum for the term 150, and you'd find other people's topics about components in the price range.

i've heard amazing things from DD and the Image Dynamic components have good reviews too if your interested in them

I checked out the Image Dynamics and I was actually looking at those too. I havent realy seen the DD do.
