6.5 Component Suggestions - 150W RMS - Prefer $200 Or Less

Thanks for the input - but those look like they're rated at 90W RMS - I need 150W RMS to match the JL Audio 450/4 amp I'm using. I was on board until I saw that RMS rating. Thanks though, appreciate the input.
Keep em coming guys - and thanks!
There is absolutely NO basis for matching the rated RMS wattage of speakers (or subwoofers) to the amplifier. Realize that speakers have different sensitivities. A 90watt speaker can have higher sensitivity and get louder on 90watts than a less sensitive speaker set on 150watts. Not only the former can get louder, it just may sound better due to better amplifier headroom, AND your amplifier will run cooler. Having seen my amplifier shutdown and go into thermal protection on a hot texas day, I really think it's much better not to run low sensitivity speakers, unless you have to.

Having said this, not all reviews of these morels are great. Most of the good reviews I have seen mention that the tweeter is just too loud on axis (and not so good off axis), and there is no tweeter attenuation. I would try something like Polk MMs, but beware that their nominal impedance is lower than 4 ohm.

These morels are not made to be mounted on axis. In all the descriptions they are made for off axis response. And the tweeter is exstreemly good off axis. It does not need attenuation because it already has a good balanced sound. I run flat on the eq for everything and the mids have plenty of authority with strong vocals and the tweeter is well very detailed. listening to acoustical music you can literaly hear the guitarist touch the strings. Everybody that hears them says it fells like you are there.

I have heard alot of comps and these sound like the hertz esk's but i like the tweeter better in these. And they are cheaper .
