5k watts ... around 7ft gross to work with?

Adassa 18"
Terra has one.
seems spl oriented alot. nice intake tho

Goal is to be in the 50' while sounding as good as my tc9, remember that

What about these models?

-nightshade 15'

-Omega 12 (or 15 if they can fit in like 3ft net after port/sub displacement)

-rd hw sql

there's alot of info on how loud these subs sound, but not on how well they perform on music tuned in the 30-32hz area

i'm not competing, just want a loud daily groundpounder. I'm listening to my system balanced most of the time, so it got to sound perfect at low level too

I'll be running 3k to each of my 12'' LV4XLs soon so I can let you know how that goes when I put my second 3000d in. Right now the box is 4.6@32 and they sound great on music (especially when dialed back to blend in) and get plenty loud. With 1500w to each I'm at a 145.x sealed up below 40hz on music and with mic in the kick and door open it's a 149.x on music below 40hz. With the added power and maybe a different box I would say the 150 sealed up is very possible on music. Our goals are the same and I chose LV4XLs and they've been a great daily pounding sub for me.

yeah i'm only hearing good things about these lv4xls.... didn't know they could take that much power tho. Lmk how it works for you

4db just by opening the door? i can't see that much a difference in all the car i had sealed/opened... my epic-160 mic doesn't seems to either.

oh yeah i'm at 144 on epic-160 atm but my actual setup was shitload louder than a guy that was doing 144.5 on tl at a meet that summer

DC makes great products and the customer service is great...you will not be disappointed. I have a reg cab truck which are generally pretty crappy sealed up, that's why there's such a large gain when opening the door. I'm not sure how they'll handle the power either. I'll get back to you when I give it a try, hopefully within the next month if I find time to work on my truck.

you could run 3 12" alphas.

Would be extremely loud and sound really good. They like small ported boxes for flatt response (1-1.5cubes ported)

I got 2 pretty much new alphas there d2's tho. not sure what ohm load that would be with 3 of them.
