So... http://www.rotarywoofer.com/ has something ive never seen before. At like 22k seems excessively pricey but,,, 5hz rumble!?!?Specs say that an attic or basement has to somehow be modified to create infinate baffle. In an big enough vechicle, seems like this could be a reality.

Why not? The blades are just twisting; it's not like the fan has to change it's rotational velocity. At least, that's my understanding of it.

i just cant see something like that wouldnt be able to move fast enough and with enough accuracy to sound... real.

The fan spins at a constant rate depending on the volume level and that causes the pressure. To change frequency, the fan blades swivel back and forth. This gives a negative and positive pressure, just like your subwoofer does.

Yep, the blades change pitch, sort of like a helicopter.
