Here's an idea.

Buy a decent amp with all the capacitance it needs -- WHERE it NEEDS it -- built INTO the power supply.

problem not solved, you missed the entire purpose of the capacitor, perhaps you should start at beginning and read through to completely understand the concept of stabilizing the line voltage..

Some of you need to read up on ultracapacitors, because clearly you do not understand the point of this thread.

i've always believed in caps and these ultra-capacitors are way cool. I was wondering if there was a way to wire in a cap in line with your battery for all the car's electrical needs so you will have strong start ups and every accessory will have strong stabile power. So now with these ultra caps there is no need for a battery at all? They have enough capacitance to retain charge and function as a normal battery?
