Im thinking about setting up this budget system:

Alpine CDA-9815

Seas Neo Aluminum Tweeters

Mach-5 MLI-65 Mids

Alpine PDX-5 Amplifier

JL Audio 15W6 Subwoofer

(all for $550)

everything will be bought used except the PDX-5

$550 plus $150 for wiring/enclosure/deadening and other misc stuff.

so around $700 in total

ya take a white background, copy and paste pix from the net of said products and voila

its good the seas go down to 2500 because thats around the x/o point your gonna want to be at with the mli's. play around 2700ish to start out with a steep x/o slope .

Fucking Badass. The detail and midbass in those things rival speakers 3 times it's price. I mean dont get me wrong those MLIs were good to me but these are much richer in detail. Looks like you and me both have soild SQ systems on a budget, but iam still undecided on a sub stage.

I know since I already got those Mach 5s for a steal. Lol. I think Iam stick with these Blaupunkt VC100 tweets for a while. Since they broke in they are very laid back and will hold me off till I get more fundage.
