pues hay mucho dominicano y puerto riqueno en NY. no hay muchos de las islas aqui en tejas pero a mi me gusta todas las naciones latinos. se tengo que dar apollo ha los dominicanos para que nos dan un segundo en la television y en el congreso yo lo hago. soy muy feliz en el movimiento de los casos para los immigrantes.

I hope not, I am the one member I think no one has any beef with,

 

but I am going on experience, and it is a big problem/issue in the DC area, I see thousands of my tax dollars being taken advantage of by people and it makes me beyond angry,

 

(ok yeah, no right to vote, or insurance, etc) but police, roads, hospitals, government, military etc...... that list goes on and on,

 

I will never respect someone who comes across the board to this country illegally and then is living in a land that millions like me have paid so much for to provide for services that are basically being used for free then complains about it,

 

shows the state of this country, even the people who do not deserve it are becoming greedy, I really dont want to talk about this anymore, it is going to make me beyond angry and I dont want that

hey Dozy stop taking 40 minutes to google some stuff and come here and argue with me. it doesnt work and i wont turn this into the other thread. when you have lived in the real world longer we will talk. i have over 40 years of letters to our state senators from my mom and dad and from me since i was 15 and they have all been answered, heck i even got to hang out with Ciro Rodriguez and Edward James Olmos as well as Henry B. Gonzales(rip) and Henry Cisneros in Washington and even had bless me and my family in our home. my family may not be the wealthiest but we are well known in San Antonio for being activists since my great grandmother.

i can respect someone that comes across like this. i am sure you are more mature and you come across well. you have a distinct experience. most on here are hearsay and just plain bigotry that was learned. many on here are just rich kids who know no better and live off their folks and immedietly go for the "wetback". if they say wetback you are a rascist. you are saying any illegal. see what i mean guys...he was mature enough not to throw race in as an issue, thats where we get lines crossed.

I dont care about race, I could care less what color skin or where you came from, my father was catholic and my mother is jewish, so I am very understanding. My mother still has the records for most of the relatives from her side when they immigrated to the US, and all of my fathers side went through NY legally. I dont care if someone is an immigrant or not, it just makes me so freaking upset that I watch so much of my hard earned money, (worked full time through 3 degrees and working on a 4th currently) is taken away from me to pay for so many different things that people who are not contributing are using. I have a 2 week old son, and I wish I could be putting more into his college fund but so much in taxes are being taken out of my pay.

 

I see it this way, Steveo (ss3079) on here is from Canada, one of the my longest running and best efriends, who if he ever needed help I would open my wallent and my heart for, if he scooted across the boarder and set up shop in the US illegallly, I would be royally pissed at him. I know his is not going to, but I am just giving an example.

 

I wish there was an easy was to resolve this, but so much money is spent in so many bad ways, a sufficent wall or boarder cannot be built.
