5 18's box idea

alright im debating on running 4 18's or possibly 5 18's. i was just wondering if it will matter if all the subs are not on the same plane?? i plan on inverting the outside 4 and leaving the middle sub mounted normal. what do u guys think??

That drawing looks like they're all in the same plane to me...

Just make sure phase is set properly and I think that setup will work fine.

i had already posted the subs on other threads but ill go ahead and post here. im not sure of 5 yet but if im happy with the 4 i have coming ill order myself a 5th and run 5. amps i havent chosen yet but seems like that the MTX TA9001 amps are a great bang for the buck. but i hate mainstream but almost cant beat it for like 400 an amp.

it wont be 30 cubes cuz u have to look at the port displacement which is gonna be ALOT since the port is gonna be quite long since the vehicle is quite long.

It won't matter as long as the inverted ones are wired reverse polarity.

I would personally mount 4 regular, and 1 inverted...
