good questions i am going to try to keep it driveable i used it last year winter in the snow and it was great what with all the batteries and mdf speakers and amps but it is going to be used more for compitition in 2010 than a daily driver. i wanted to get subs in place before i upgraded amps. i was thinking the amps i have would do ok for breaking in the new subs?? i wll be building boxes again because all of mine were built for 12s. i do my own installs and have a spl meter to get the free air resonance of the van and tune my set up. it sounds like from the feed back i got on this that i am on the right track with the wardens but i am going to look at every sugestion i get thanksi love how everyone just starts saying subs to get. to the OP, What are you going for? is the a competition vehicle? Daily? SQL? SPL? Whats the Goal? If spl Your going to need a hella lot more power. Daily get more smaller subs as opposed to 18's or 21's. More heat dissapation and more motor to cone. I say sell your amps and do 10 Audioque HDC3 12's and 5 AQ3500ds for daily. Maybe Wardens if for competition, but not daily. Are you going to be building the box and installing yourself?
i just emailed you 10 amEmail me darrenfrancis@dbeezcaraudio.com no need to spend 5k on subs alone can get subs and amps all in one shot...
