If your looking to save some money I would stay away from crutchfield, they tend to be high priced
Try places like sonicelectronix.com, onlinecarstereo.com, or even ebay

stay away from onlinecarstereo they have a bad rep

I would say no. Look for more SQ oriented subs since that is what your aiming for. You might only want one also.

how about this suggestion.

before you buy anything, and i know you will just buy stuff because you are impatient, just stick on this forum for a few weeks and read stuff.

you will be amazed at how many amplifiers and speakers are out there. some of the stuff i have seen will boggle your mind. read up on what you are doing, maybe put that $800 into savings account and put $50 a paycheck into it and bump it up a few hundred and get a BAD *** install rather than a 'ive seen that in my buddies car' install.

i could go out and just send you links to stuff and you could buy it, but it defeats the purpose of learning why you want to use this versus that.

http://www.millionbuy.com has good prices btw. id stay very well clear of infinity by the way. used to sell it at circuit city, and it might just have been more sales with them - but they came back the most too.

yea reg i got a couple weeks before its all going in. how much $$ do you think is necessary to make a bad a$$ system that you speak of.

keep in mind that im looking to get it professionally installed if I cannot work something out with my buddy

let me make something clear.

Im really not trying to get into car audio as a hobby, Im not looking to compete, Im just looking for a system that will go bump in the trunk.

I have a tendency that if I get into things, I go way too far with them and buy unnecessary shit.

I hope you understand where I am coming from and mean this in no disrespect to others. Im simply here for advice...

I have to keep my parents happy and justify this purchase at all after getting a 40k car for christmas
