my guy octavio has 2 of them im his trunk they handle 2k rms 4k peak each

Joe lobato used to have 2 memphis mojo 15s on 4 memphis 4kw's and they would last him a while. Running RE MT's now and they seem to be handling it as well.

the ia dp's will take as much as the btl. i am pretty sure the dp is a little cheaper than the btl. i know it will be cheaper than the dd 9500. ( the 9500 is a nice sub it is just not cheap)

Not sure as to why people are steering you away from the BTL..? It's a nice woofer. I wouldn't give it no 4K daily.. I could smell mine on my AQ3500 on music.

That's odd. I loved my 12s and 15s. They took the abuse I gave them and I would play mine at almost full potential for about a 30min. drive to pueblo for almost 2 weeks. Took them out to sell them and couldn't find a single thing wrong. I know there's a guy up there with a town car or something walled with a BTL or 2.

not knocking the btl. scott makes a very nice product & outstanding customer service. can't go wrong with either. i have just had a lot of experience with the incriminator product & have been extreamy pleased with the performance and the customer service.

Factor in imp rise and voltage drop and that amp won't do no 4k "daily". That term is thrown around way to much. Daily on that sub it would handle it. Mine handled 2 earthquake 5000's and when I switched to some XX colossus II it handled those as well. If your smelling coils back the gain down. Simple as that

Go get a DD 9515G or a 9518G with a composite dust cap and cone they will handle it or if u can find a 9915 or 9918 get it bc they will def handle 4k daily

right now its at .5ohm. i know it wont do the full 4k daily but i dont want to have to worry about it blowing the sub. a sub that could do 2.5-3k would be good.
