also. the SMD woofer is really nice. except where SMD is on the woofer. i would buy it if i could order it blank.

Agreed, but I would still be careful. Personally, I would divide the power between two subs even if it ment going to a smaller size. Thats alot of power for a sub daily.

yeah but i thought it be cool to have just the one sub. not many loud 1 sub setups in my area

why not go with 2 subs 10 or 12. thats about the same space as an 18 and allows for alot more mechanically to disipate heat. and should have a higher sustainable spl potential

Why does it matter its just a dust cap. You can easily paint over it?

ya its best this stays locked since some people dont read or pay attention....on top of that, you have to have some sort of common sense. No offense but dont you guys think there will be BIG news, Big announcements, and BIG videos if/when mine and scotts new sub comes out? I mean for real here, i post news every time i put a sheet-rock screw into a piece of wood no matter where i do it or why........what makes you think the world isnt gonna know the VERY SECOND i know? I KNOW it says FEB 09, sorry, it may be march or god help me, April......but that is something that is out of my control and the FEB info was the best INFO i had at the time - Straight from the HORSE aka Scott.

kinda. I always work on the weekends and cant get them off ever so im never able to go to the comps so im not worried about breaking records or anything.

i just think back to when i was running a single 15 off 1500watts and telling friends that my 1 sub was louder then their 2. then being able to prove it.

its kinda like what i got now, 2 audiobahns taking 1500watts each and everytime i tell someone its audiobahn they laugh until they hear it

if you want an awesome sub that will take that with ease. ia warden. i burp a 40.1 @ .3 ohms on each 12" warden in my car. they will take twice the power that i am putting on them. talk to nick or check to see if you have a ia dealer near you so you may be able to audition some of there products. the customer service is also a +. 2nd to none.

if this is truly the case I would think more about the install than the sub. a good 2500 to an 18 in the correct enclosure designed to peak in your specific vehicle would be my goal. just my opinion though
