4ga sufficent for bxi1606d?

will 4ga wire be sufficent enough for an hifonics bxi1606d? the maxxsonics website recommends at least 4ga but ive seen other sites (sonixelectronics/onlinecarstereo/ikesound/etc) advertise this amp as "has 2ga oversized power terminals".

im running a audiobahn 4ga amp kit and i know how audiobahn overrated their equipment.

I have that amp and figured id go with 2 gauge to be safe, but Power acoustik 2g is 4g. Cant say how it works because I gave up on the install for now, untill i get a car that runs.

yeah its alright i have friends that use it i actually think thats what is reccomended in the manual also.
