Jeeze isn't that a bit expensive? Got quoted for a 200 amp alt and they said 499 dollars! I thought they were going for like 299 tops.

Ah roger. H.O. Alternators. Yeah I suppose then. He said its direct bolt on. Sometimes I wonder how much better off I'd be if I could just set it up with two alternators. Then I'd just have to get another OEM alt for like 150 bucks and most likely have more juice available.

u could do that but then u have to change alot of the stock bracketry and thew belt

nate (EA) can probably do a 300 amp for less than what you were quoted

Powermaster probably a 200-225amp

Gotcha. Thanks guys I appreciate the referrals. I just emailed all of those places so we'll see for some comparison. I'm going to be running around 1300 watts and I don't want to have any charging issues.

id place bets on it Nate gives the best price.

the other 2 are very good companies as well but EA isnt a huge corp. he has the ability to offer it for less with lower overhead

that and chances are it would be built and shipped in 2 business days

you shouldnt need so much electrical upgrades for only 1300watts
