yes i know its 2 dbs louder for the 12 15s vs the 48 10s, but anyways. if they were the same dbz would there be the same amount of force or would there be more for one or the other. just dont understand how they could be the same "loudness" if one has more cone area.

There are a million variables besides cone area that determines how loud a subwoofer setup will be.

your also forgetting to take in what hz the numbers were hit at. 150s at 60hz is way different than 150 at 30hz

yes its all in the box, I've seen 8 12's do 160 music before, and then ive seen 40 12's do 146 ....it all comes down to design
