$450 budget

I am redoing my sub stage. I plan to spend around $450 on an amp and a sub(s). Wiring is already done and second battery is installed. The box can take up no more than 2.25 ft^3. Can be any size sub or any number and long as it will work in 2.25ft^3. Would like to be around 1000wrms.

No, broham. He was recommending two PG RSDC subs and the MB Quart DSC1500.1. That's not bad really.

Sure. I don't care for elemental designs, but the amp is decent. It was really popular for a while...

Honestly, the two choices mentioned already are both very decent. You could think about substituting the PG RSDCs for Alpine Type R's, I guess.

Finding a used pair of the older RE Audio SEs wouldn't be horrible either. They'd do extremely well on the MB Quart DSC1500.1.

ed nine is good but id rather pay 150 shipped for a recoil red 1000.1 and then put the rest on a hdc3 alum

I think the older ones can take the power, man. Lots of people overpower Type Rs with no trouble. Dude would just have to use some common sense...

not really. If memory serves, the Type R 12" does well in between 1.5 & 2 cubes @ around 33Hz.
