4 Speaker Terminal Explination

Quick Question:

I have two dual 2-Ohm PSIs that will be powered by an SQ2200. Can someone explain the 4 speaker terminals to me? From what I've gathered the two positives are the same piece of metal, so could I wire each sub to 1-Ohm and then run each to the amp and give me a 1-ohm load?

PS. Just realized I spelled explanation wrong...

U can either wire the subs at 2 ohms or .5 not 1ohm ...when u wire each sub down to 1 ohm then add another in parallel it drops to 5..and as dar as the 4 terminals on the amp go its for ease of wiring they are all connected in the inside of the amp its a monobkock

My goal is 0.5Ohm... is that what this would give me?

Perfect. For each sub one pos and one neg needs two inputs of wire.. I have 8awg that barely fits in with one wire.. How do I fit two?
U can switch to 12 gauge or use a bolt terminal setup with 8 gauge where u make the jumper wires on the box instead of at the sub so u will only have 1 wire in each push terminal

I learned that after I ordered the wire.. haha. So I figured I should use it anyway.

Would I run the positive and negative of each coil to a bolt in the box and then make little 2inch wires that connect certain bolts to eachother?

2 terminal bolts through the box wall, one posi and one neg. Inside will have 4 leads with ring terminals on each "bolt" going to according hots and grounds at the subs. When doing this u will only need one set of wires from the amp as it is a mono and the terminal bolts will already be at ur preferred .5ohm load.
