4 or 2 gauge?

My Alphasonik amp says it recommends you use a 2 gauge but the person I'm having install the amp says that since I have a capacitor a 4 gauge would be ok. what should i do?

never heard of a capacitor deeming 4 gauge necessary....especially when the manufacturer reccomends 2 gauge, person installing amp= dumbazz

You should get rid of that capacitor. And run 2awg. Or better yet, go to the top and run 1/0awg.

Take it somewhere else and run the 2 gauge. Keep the cap or trash it...it makes no difference, and it wont hurt anything.
