not really... it's actually slightly cooler... I used to get a minor burn if I touched it for more then like 3 seconds

chances are your not actually at 2ohms anyways....probably slightly above....but that still don't change the fact that it is not rated to go below 4ohm mono. it depends on the amp. i have run 2 channel 4ohm mono amps at 1.33ohm mono...smokin hot and never had problems...even left some metled fibers under it.
