thats what they were supposed to have been but were reconed as 18s not a big deal tho

Looking good so far. Going to be a LOT of work, but it'll slam when done. I've only heard one MT 18 in 8.5cubes @35Hz with 1200watts and it pounded the lows like crazy...

after displacement i ended up with almost 18 cu ft

since im not putting 4k or more on each sub the smaller box will do d**n good for my power

its in a tahoe 4 door so it should be pretty decent.

if you check out the install i did on my girls celica you will see theres no way im going to use plain old black or grey carpet

not purple for sure

my interior is tan leather that will get some ideas going

not going to use leather tho

tomorrow will be like xmas when i get off work

then i can get the box complete

im going to do all the bracing tomorrow when i get home probably. its 2 inches thick right now but im sure the subs would still tear it apart with the bracing.

right now the box itself is pushing 250 maybe 300 pounds

going to salvage yard tomorrow diring lunch to pick up some 3/4 ton or 1 ton springs for the rear.

as if the box isnt heavy enough it will have 250 pounds of subs op top.

i will add more pics tomorrow depending on what i get done with it.

cant wait to do the elect. 4 runs of 0ga in the frame rail

ill probably run them in a pvc pipe and have a cut out in the floor of the rear storage areapvc all the way to the floor then seal it with a crap load of epoxy

before i put the top on along with bracing im also planning on taking my router to all corners in the box to round them off

nothing was delivered. well not for the build anyway. my zrs 10 made it back from cadence. like new again. just need to find someone to buy it now.

Alt will be here tomorrow so i can get started on the wiring at least

BIG change on plans on the suspension. not going to waste money on old used leaf spring. AIR BAGS goin on thursday to support all the weight

a lot easier than my girls car. dont have to worry about a tight fit when i have such a large area to work with.

almost did i wall but it would have been so far back. this way im keeping my back seat. after all its a daily driver

my subs were supposed to have been sent today havent got a tracking number yet but got them from a good guy so no worries other than typical UPS let downs

hope its all in by saturday

i am doing this build basicly alone with a broken back thanks to the army. been broke since 2004. GOOD DRUGS THO

UPS does it again. broke my **** ZRS10 that i just got back from being rebuilt F**CKERS

on the other hand FEDEX came thru my alternator is here. going to install it and wire under the hood tomorrow afternoon. will post some pics when its done before and after
