(4) L7's box design ideas

so im going to build a box in the back of a friends 96 chevy Tahoe... he is wanting the subs to face the rear and be ported as well as have a pretty fiberglass faceplate to go over it... I was wondering if anyone had any good designs for (4) kicker l7's in the same box.

Those will want a BIG *** box. I'd do subs up/port to the rear...

whats your opinion on slot ports vs. aero ports?

Slot ports work just fine, no magic in aeros for a daily set up.

I did a bubran box a few years ago with 4 L7's, subs up/port back in the middle. Was an impressive music set up, guy got it impounded 4-5 times and finally gave up on car audio...

no "magic" meaning no real difference besides cosmetics?... any ideas for a cool fiberglass front plate?

Yep, won't hear a diff to the ear.

No ide on FG frontplate. Could just do one wrapped in vinyl or some nice fabric. Or painted to color match the vehicle...
