4 Kicker Comp VR's

Right now I have 4 Comp Vr's hooked up to a lanzar 1500D. Do you think those 4 subs could handle a bigger amp or not? Tuned 33 htz, not sure the size of the box, I can get back to you on that, but what do ya think?

well, what is the actual rms on that lanzar amp? Also, i'd say they can take a lil over rms..good subs...dealt with them b4 with about 50-100 watts over rms, handled it fine. peace

1 x 400 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms

1 x 800 Watts Max at 2 Ohms

1 x 1500 Watts Max at 1 Ohms

I have the subs wired to 1 ohm, 400 rms a sub

well, it's 1500 MAX is the key word....

Basically, the answer is yes...i'd get a lil better quality amp that will put out AT LEAST 1600watts RMS at 1ohm...because right now they probably aren't even seeing 400 watts rms a piece from that lanzar amp. Throw bout 400-500 watts RMS at them in that ported box and ****...i think they're GREAT subs for the price man! good luck...peace

yah, i figured the lanzar was throwing about 1300-1400 watts to them. I wanna get a 1200.1 but I can't find one for my budget right now.
