4 Kicker Comp VR10's

hey guys, i have a question about building a box for my 4 Kicker CVR 10's

they recommend a minimum of 1.25 cubic feet and a maximum of 1.75 cubic feet per sub, for vented enclosures

my question is do i build it closer to the minimum or maximum??

i was thinking 7 cubic feet box with 2 chambers 3.5 cubes each slot ported to 32hz which would be the maximum enclosure size for these

thanks for advice!

ok, i was also wondering how much effects different hz have when tuning a box

i mainly listen to bassy techno and rap so would there be a big difference in sound from 32hz to 33hz or 34hz?

Thanks

You should be happy with 4 of those 10's. I did 4 of them in my buddy's old blazer sealed and was very impressed with the sound and output of them
cool,

as everyone seems to recommend 32 to 34Hz, i've decided to go middle of the road and go with 33Hz.

just did the big 3 today, hoping to build my box next week and get it all installed next weekend.

im gonna be pushing around 250 watts RMS to each of them. i figured that should be ample.

Thanks again guys!!

Id put all of them in a 4.5 cube box tuned to 33hz.. youll have the best results.. i know from experience.
thats smaller than the minimum required, to meet the minimum i would need atleast 5 cubes

1.25 per sub is minimum recommended

im gonna try 6 cubes tuned at 33hz, which will give them 1.5 per sub
