Custom box for 2 RF p1 12

Alright so I got a pair of Fosgate p1 12 4 ohm subs. I am trying to get the most performance out of them as possible and need some advice or possibly a box design for a ported enclosure to get the most out of these subs. Any one built a custom enclosure for these subs?

built a few for p1, p2, p3 and the T line. 1.75 cubes tuned to 36hz per sub does the trick, but i have a feeling you may be looking to upgrade soon. the P line of rockford subs never impressed me a whole lot. not a bad sub, but as good as their amps are, i wish they'd put that same build quality in to their subs.

I'm not sure about the P1's. I designed a box for 2 P1-12's. IIRC, I tuned it to 36hz. I don't remember the space. But, if you're doing the design yourself, try to keep the port with a minimum amount of bends. More bends = lower port velocity = Less booom.

Thank you both the your advice, Ya not the best subs but their decent and Since I own em I might as well do something with them. Plus if I do build an enclosure and decide to upgrade I can always give them to a friend or something for their first system.

sounds like a good idea. be sure you build around an upgrade though. i would do the box at 2 cubes per sub, instead of 1.75 to allow for an upgrade to an anonymous sub later. i think they recommend 1.75 per sub.
