Would 4 gauge power wire be fine for 2 amps (jl 250/1 & 300/2)?

JL recommneds 2 or 0 gauge with 2 amps.

These are the v1 slash series. I don't hear my music too loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Its for a honda s2000 so the run is short.
