4 gauge enough?

System setup is

2 12" Pioneer Premier W3004SPL's (1000rms each)

Power Acoustik a2400db Amp

Set to 1ohm

I want to hook everything up and then do the big 3 with excess wiring. I have a 4 gauge kit lying around my house but on the front it says only 1100 watts. Should I just sell this one and buy myself a 2 or 0 gauge wiring kit? Would 4 gauge on big 3 be a waste anyways?

Also, a friend wants to know if his bmw 328i w/ 2 cvr's and a crunch 1000watt monoblock will be ok without the big 3?
