4 ch amp/3 ch mode or 2 separate amp?

That Kicker ZX700.5 is a solid amp , I have installed 3 of them and they are very nice for a 1 amp system . For the price they are going for I think its a really good deal .

I think you got a point. After researching a lil bit, I think this amp fit the bill perfect. I was almost set on a set of PG Xenons, but measuring my space constraint, the single amp setup is perfect. I also found out on the kicker manual that I only need one input to utilize all of the channel (I will lose the fader that way, but I guess that not a big deal).

Why dont you buy my ARC AUDIO 5 channel I have on Ebay right now??.....In case you dont know ARC AUDIO is up there with Diamond and Zapco stuff...

if it interests you then check out my auction.....btw...the rated specs for the watts is conservative..my birthsheet shows more than it was rated...so it sounds a like a lot more than other amps with twice the rated power....worth a look

Also....The XENONS ARE FINE and also some of the best values on the planet at the moment. For space reasons go with the single amp but if you dont care about that then go with more than one...I am now going from a single back to a 2 amp set up.

except i have never had an arc amp that didnt shut off after getting on it really hard for extended periods of time. i have a diamond D5 amp that is absolutly awesome. it is bullet proof. its in 100+ degree temps all day in my boat and is running full tilt non stop. great amp. zapcos are the same way, rock solid. i think the zapcos sound better, but i dont think you will find any other thing that is more solid than those two amps.

well my ARC never shut off on me but to be honest I never pushed it...just a suggestion....first time I have ever heard a complaint about a ARC AUDIO AMP...

i have had quite a bit of arc stuff and there EQ's are decent, the DXE is nice, but every amp i had always shut off when i really layed on it. they dont like heat.
