Deciding on a setup at this time will includes 6.5 rainbow SLC up front and 1 12" AA arsenal sub. Should i get a 4ch amp and bridged the rear 2 ch to sub or 2 separate amps, like a 2 ch and monoblock? I was almost decide on an alpine MRV-f545, but reading through the post, seem like I can do better for the money. budget is around $350 for the amp or amp(s).

hmm i possibly will have my five channel amp for sale soon if you are interested. 75 x 4 @ 4 + 350 x 1 @ 2. I'd be willing to give it up with your budget //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. This amp will give you the chance to biamp the components. its the usamps 5600x and if you know anything about usamps, old school usamps are a bit underrated.

Could you elaborate? How does a 2 ch amp run in tri-mode? Wouldn't I need a 4 ch amp? I guess that was my question to begin with:) Also, are all 4 ch amp capable of being bridged? or only amp that specifically stated 4/3/2 operation?

check your pm
back at ya...the only problem i have is i am planning to tap into my factory bose (not replacing my HU cause of functionality) Look like I will need LOC that will provide 3 set of outputs. I don't that exist, unless i wanna spend money on an audiocontrol line driver...

oh yea my amp is not bridgeable BUT with your original plan you can just use two of the channels for temporary use until possibly upgrading your HU then you will be able to biamp your components. always nice to have some left over power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

what about a viper 550.6?

I am running one now, that for the right price i may be willing to let go of.

it also have a feature where you dont need more than one set of RCA's to utilize all 5/6 channels.

Thanks for the offer. I think I am set on 2 separate amp setup. I got it down to either both PG Xenons (100x2 and 600x1) or Orions (4002 and 600d). Reading through post, them both see to be decent. I am a little worry about PG have alot of problems reported. But the diamond in the classified is a gorgeous amp! Just a little more than what I wanted to spend. We'll see what happen.

Just an //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif ?

The Tantrums (first batches) were PG's main source of quality control issues. It was a much less frequent occurence with the Xenons. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
