4 8’s in a Tahoe

3.5cu total or after all displacement? Going to be tuff filling that cabin with very little cone area. I would try and squeeze a quality 15 in with like 2k. Dc xl like small ported but will need 3.5 after displacement. Are you trying to put it behind 3rd row and still have room for groceries?
Wouldn’t 4 8’s be similar to 2 12’s in cone area? Also more motor power? Especially being 2 12’s sealed vs 4 8’s ported?

4 8's in 3.5 cubes ported, can tell ya right now ain't gon' happen. What is your exact measurements to work with? You may have to settle for a single ported 10 or a few 8's.

I’ll get those measurements tonight. If I remember right, It was around that 3.5 Cubes. I can always stick with sealed subs if I have too, but if I have the option to run a ported enclosure with the right subs, proper box design I will.

Also thank you to everyone who’s commented. I appreciate it.

t-lines are pretty simple in concept. in all reality they are probably easier than a ported box.
Eh, it depends upon the enclosure for the sub(s) really. I mean I've been building enclosures since the 90's so the t-line wasn't any more difficult or easy...just a few more pieces of wood to assemble. It has a large bandwidth between 30-90Hz.

3.5 is more than enough for some 8" subs. The sa-8 v3 require .5 minimum. I have 4 in a small box I forget what is is 2.2 maybe, anyways I feel like it does pretty darn good in my truck.

Perhaps some, ported.....but that might be pushing it.

all you have to do is take Sd and make a tunnel that is 1/4 the length of the hz you want to tune to. It's basically IB unless you're building more pressure inside of the line.

I would add two more of the same subs and look at selling the 2k to go towards the funds of a decent 5-8k mono amplifier and new enclosure
