That box is turning out nice. wish i still had my hd3 so i can try the same method.. i tried kerfing once but the wood kept snapping.

Yes, your enclosure is quite nice. I'm really enjoying trying something new.

Kerfing isn't hard, just cut the wood deep enough.

just my opinion but you should fiberglass those bends

pure ***.....and putting resin and alittle kitty hair on it will make that kerfs even stronger

meh.... i can't bend em by hand, so i doubt a subwoofer will be able to. *knocks on wood*

square flare port has already been done, talk to steve meade over at stevemeadedesigns.com he made his out of concreate tubs by cutting themin quarters and 45ing the ends and glassing them together it came out quite nice its in his civic rebuild thread on his site
