I would have made the second baffle on the INSIDE... behind the first bent baffle...

Very nice, although I do agree with Ng that some body filler and making it blend would make it flow better.

Use some body filler and smooth that lip on the double baffle out... make it 100% smooth...

Actually, I really like how the kerfed port is inset. I just think it looks nice. I doubt having a lip that far out affects the sound. I'm gonna leave it.

Sounds pretty much like ***, but I expected it. I just wanted something that was loud for comps.

Comparing theXXX and HD3 is comparing apples and oranges because they are built with different objectives in mind. The XXX sounds great and gets loud, and the HD3 sounds like *** but gets ridiculously loud.

Meh, after listening some more, it's not that bad, really... I played late night tip and it did alright.

The XXX kills it in the 40hz and under region, but in the mid 40's, the HD3 is loud as hell. In the upper notes, the XXX is almost nonexistant, as is common for XBL^2 subs.

My hd3 15" didnt sound terrible.. that was probably due to the fact it was tuned to 34 though.
