4 12" Type R's vs. 2 15" hdc3

do you think the r's can take 1k daily? I've seen them go well with 800 a piece

also if I did the r's, should I get d4, or d2.....

d4 will wire to 2 ohm......but dual 2 will wire to 1 ohm, and 4 ohm. I figure after rise it should make a load close to 2 ohm for my amp....and if it dont like that abuse than I could wire the d2's to 4 ohm and give them 500+ a piece

yeah I think 2 15" alum recones would be $210.....but to recone to alum 18's would be about $360.....just is tough to spend that much cash when the whole sub is only a lil more cash.
man I wish I didn't toast my alum coils when I first got them:furious://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

idk what to do..

so yur giving yur one alum hdc3 2500 rms?
Yep, and in all honesty, I think its more than 2500, because this amp is alot harder on my electrical.. Probably closer to 3k.

btw you blew the alum coil you had? how? straight clipped signal:laugh:
