4 12" ID MAX's VS 4 12" Alpine Type r's

Ok thanks budahbuddy you actually gave me some good useful info. What kind of recones would i use for the max's?

imagedynamics sells them. You could probably buy a 12" type r for the price of a recone from idmax... which is why i say you should run the R's for SPL so you can push them a little harder, which i hear they love.

Ya the r's love power I have my saz turned a little less than a 1/4 of the way & they r movin like crazy. I know they can handle more power i just gotta worry about my voltage.

I say buy up all of the TC9 motored 12s that are in the classifieds and give them the gusto. That would get you loud, low, and sounding pretty good

Heck, I wouldn't be lying if I said I hit 174 with a single cvr 8" , but that wouldn't be tellng the whole story now would it.

Anywho, I say type r as usual.

recones are around 190 i believe so a pair of type r's are about the same
