4 12" eye candys or 2 FI BL's

your only gaining 6 inches more of cone with 4 12's IMO it wouldnt make any difference....i would say the bl's on atleast 1200 per sub.....what kind of power are you able to work with?

i would still say the BL's with about 1200 per sub and properly tuned enclosure

Assuming four Eye Candy 12's or two BL 12's, I'd go with the Eye Candies. There are better subs to choose from, in my opinion, but that's your choice.

Now, if you could up to say two or three 15" BTL's/BL's, then I'd suggest going that route with adequate power to each.

Even so, there's more to the comparison than 6" more cone area between 18's and 12's.
