3Sixty.3 turn OFF pop

Hi guys,

I freshly installed my 3sixty.3, everything works, all wiring is correct no bad grounds whatsoever.

I've already tried a commonly suggested solve for this problem, setting the turn-off delay to 4 seconds, doesn't really help.

I suspect it's because I have it wired to my switched + from my radio, I don't really have access to a fuse and extra wire to power it with my battery right now, would that solve the problem you guys think? My theory is that it would solve the problem, as currently when my head unit turns off it instantly removes power from the processor. So by having it wired to my battery, it will still turn on with my radio as the remote tells it to, but it will be able to have the turn off delay.

I need a second opinion though I've already ordered a fuse and a fuseholder to try this out.

Thanks!

Directly to radio ground, I've tested it with a direct ground. No bad grounds, I know for a fact popping noises come from power being removed or put on to it too quickly. Which is why turn/on and off delay is there. Turn on delay works and eliminates my turn ON pop. But according to my speculations, turn off delay doesn't work if power is removed immediatly (because radio power is switched). Thus, wiring it to the battery so turn off delay works and power isn't instantly removed from the DSP after radio turns off would eliminate my turn off pop you know what I mean?

So you have 2 grounds in the same location?
Ugh, no... I tested with different grounds. A bolted chassis ground, which was sanded to bare metal. Tried radio ground and tried a direct battery ground. No difference. Am I really that unclear? Jeez...

This tells me you have 2 grounds in same location....but since your getting agitated, I'll stop replying.

Thank you, this isn't the first time you totally misunderstood me. I was refering to two different attempts.

In other words, I've tried directly to a radio ground I've tested with a direct ground (to battery). No luck, no bad grounds...

It was confusing...thought you had radio ground plus that.

it sounds like your powering the unit and the turn on lead for it from the hu amp remote turn on wire. it sounds like you already know thats the issue, what do you want?

This is a possible cause for my problem which I identified by thinking it through. I just wanted a second opinion, if people had any experience with this problem. And if so, if they could perhaps verify it. I am still waiting for my fuse and fuse holder to come in. Until then I can't hook it up to the battery as I do not want to hook it up without any fuse, connections correct or not that's not a good idea. When I get my 5a fuse delivered I'll make an attempt.
