36 or 38hz tuning too high?

I like anything in between them 2 songs, but I really like that bass tone in Bia Bia. Is 42hz bad for my taste then?
nah, if thats your taste, i would say around a higher hz would be better for your taste. 42 is in your zone man, go for it.

if treo has the make and model of my truck plus the aproximate cube/ft of my cab they can figure the freq... this is what treo told me when i called them. is this wrong???

Awesome thanks for the help.
but like i say, if u use round aero ports, u could start out with longer ports, which would tune it lower, and just cut off come bit by bit until u get it right where u want it, a good way to findo ut what your ears actually like

2 15" treo TSX's
20sq in of port is waaayyy to small for those.

Anyways about tuning, it depends on your tastes in music. I like the 40-45hz range, it's generally very loud and rattles my ears.

It also depends on your sub. In my case, the Audioque HD3 is a VERY unique sub and a biotch to tune. . . I was doing 50hz daily, then I swapped the ports for a 40hz tune and everything almost sounded the same, so 50hz daily for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Not to mention I like the feeling of 50hz notes - hurts your ears, blurs your vision, and you'll really feel it in your chest haha.

Does it get low?

Does it get low?
If I tune low. Low for this sub is like 37hz, it peaked at 32!! God knows what would happen if I tuned to 30!

But as for does it get low with a 50hz tune, lawl . . it'd be a hell of a sub if it did //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif
