30A fuse enough for this distrub. block?

I bought one of these http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KNF-12.

I was suppose to pick a fuse but I forgot so I assume they'll give me a 30A since thats the first choice. I will plug in one 4 gauge wire and out one 8 gauge. Is the 30A fuse enough for should I replace it? This will power a Helix 5 Ch. amp which is about 550W rms.

no its not enough. you fuse for the capacity of the wire, not the rating of them amp.

Can I not use a fuse since I already have a 100A at the battery.
